Teacup Candles
There isn’t much more girly than teacups. Dainty, fragile, floral, refined. Upon every visit from my Grandmother-In-Law, I am gifted a piece of her china collection. A tea set, a shallow dish, teacups, you get the idea. Each is beautiful, however the question remains, what to do with them. I don’t exactly own a china hutch and haven’t hosted a tea party since I was six.
And so the idea of tea-candles was born.
A part of the Dime Girl philosophy is to surround yourself with pretty. It’s a crime to keep beautiful things hidden away in cabinets and drawers. Shut away in dark closets wrapped in old newspaper never to be seen, used or admired.
The teacups you will find in the Store are not from my Grandmother-IL’s reserve, but found in random rummage shops, antique stores and flea markets.
This particular collection is Fine China, made in France as per the maker’s mark on the bottom. Each cup is hand poured with clean burning soy wax.
These tea-candles make perfect gifts for the women in your life. Mothers Day, Birthdays, Bridesmaid gifts or for your favorite Teacher or Nurse. They are sweet and sentimental and can be refilled or re-used for a variety of purposes once the candles are used up.

Icing on the Cake.
